SHOOK thinks

Funny how quickly you snap back to the old routine

I looked up this morning at my kids getting ready and it felt like they’d never been away from school. They hadn’t been there for 175 days. They’ve been back for 5 days.

It’s amazing how quickly you forget change and spring back to before.

There’s a lot of conversation in PR, advertising and beyond about 2020 being a pivot point for offices, industries, people, society, the climate. But remember, behaviour depends on our surroundings.  It’s not the first time we’ve said it but this morning was another reminder: if you want to keep some changes, you need to design for them, whether in your family, your workplace, your business or the wider world. Same goes if there are any changes you want to lose. For both, you’ll need action, not just words.

If you’d like to talk more about using behaviour design and creativity to fix brand, business or behaviour challenges using creative, communications or campaigning, we’d love to help: hello@welcometoshook.com
